The University of Nottingham Netball Club

The University of Nottingham Netball Club is one of the biggest clubs in the Athletics Union, and the largest women's club at the University of Nottingham. It consists of 6 teams playing in British University College Sports League (BUCS) and 1 squad in the top league of the IMS (Intramural Sports) League at the University of Nottingham.

The ability of our members ranges from International and Super League players to those who just wish to improve their skills and play for fun. Our aim is to ensure the widest possible range of players have their talents nurtured and continue to aspire to represent their University. 

 

Alongside playing Netball, the club hosts a range of socials events from big nights out to girly nights in. This not only brings our club closer together but also helps us unite the Athletic Union as we often join up with other AU clubs, to host social events. As well as socials we have fundraising events throughout the year and a tour, which in the past has taken us to Spain, Dublin, Edinburgh and South Africa!

 

By joining our Netball Club you not only get the chance to play a great game at a high level and represent your University, you also make great friendships with lasting bonds. Alumni Weekend sees the return of past players and its continued popularity shows just how much the club means to so many people. Being a part of the Netball Club will enhance your University experience and be a great addition to University life.
